Timor Awakening Film
Timor Awakening is a film about the journey of veterans of two neighbouring countries. Filmed on the inaugural Timor Awakening Program in July 2016, the film provides a snapshot into the unique history of Timor-Leste and how Australian soldiers are returning for healing and much more
Timor Awakening Podcast
Timor Awakening Podcast features interviews of some of the veteran participants who have come onto our Timor Awakening program. Each talks about their personal struggles and shares insights of positively moving forward, capturing their valuable stories and content to share with the veteran community.
Our aim is to improve the lives of veterans and their families through peer-to-peer holistic health and wellbeing programs.
Interviews touch on sensitive topics such as suicide, losing loved ones, finding new purpose, and transitioning out of Defence from a variety of different perspectives.
